The Duret Gallery was created in Paris in 2010, in the 16th arrondissement, in a street with a rich artistic past. In fact, it was once the meeting place of multidisciplinary artists like Francisque-Joseph Duret (sculptor) who gave his name to the street in 1868. In the 1970s, it became a landmark for antique collectors. It is therefore quite natural that Mickaël and Laëtitia will baptize their first art space, Duret Gallery. Building on their Parisian success, they opened a second venue in the Belgian capital: the Duret Brussels gallery, before investing, on the occasion of a pop-up exhibition, the ochre city with the Duret Marrakech gallery.
In 2016, Galerie Duret inaugurates its new Parisian space at 7bis rue des saints-pères Paris 6e.
Exploring the world of contemporary international artists is the vocation of the Duret Gallery, which works around an exclusive selection of painters, photographers and sculptors. The Duret Gallery invites you to discover an optimistic, pop and colorful art expressed through innovative and varied mediums such as metal, paper (rice paper, wax paper), canvas, resin or aluminium.
